It started with an embarrassing test

When I first got into personal development, I was obsessed. More excited than I had ever been about anything. My plan was simple: read everything, grow faster than everyone. So I bought the books, read them all, underlined, highlighted, took notes.

Then one day, I decided to test myself. I picked up a book I had finished just a few weeks earlier and asked myself what I actually remembered from it. The answer was brutal: not a single useful idea. Months of reading, and almost nothing had stayed.

Reading more doesn't help if you forget everything afterwards.

Learning the skill nobody teaches

That day I understood I had two options: keep reading and forgetting, hoping something would eventually stick — or learn how to truly absorb and remember what I read. I chose the second one.

I read everything I could find on memory, focus and retention. I studied how the brain processes information, tested dozens of methods on my own reading, kept what worked and threw away what didn't. Slowly, the change came: I wasn't just reading anymore — I was remembering, and applying. Books stopped being merely interesting. They started becoming part of me.

Why I wrote the book

For years I kept this system private, using it for my own growth. Never Forget What You Read is everything I learned, distilled into 7 simple, progressive steps — from understanding how memory works to integrating what you read into your real life. No theory for theory's sake: every chapter is built around actions you can take on the very next book you open.

You don't need a photographic memory. You don't need to be a genius. You need a method — and that's exactly what this book gives you.
